Birds
Birds: also known as avian dinosaurs, are a group of endothermic vertebrates, characterised by feathers, toothless beaked jaws, the laying of hard-shelled eggs, a high metabolic rate, a four-chambered heart, and a strong yet lightweight skeleton.
Hong Kong is a great place for birding. Over 450+ species have been recorded, 300 of which regularly reside there. This accounts for a third of the recorded species across the whole
of China, and an amazing one-twentieth of the total global number.
